Job Summary
Calida Rehab is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and responsible Staff Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing psychiatric and de-addiction treatment. The Staff Nurse will be responsible for medication administration, patient monitoring, documentation, emergency response, and supporting the multidisciplinary treatment team in delivering holistic patient care.
Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care
- Provide direct nursing care to patients admitted for psychiatric and de-addiction treatment.
- Monitor patients' physical and mental health status.
- Record and maintain vital signs and nursing observations.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living whenever required.
- Ensure patient safety and maintain a therapeutic environment.
Medication Management
- Administer medications as prescribed by the treating psychiatrist and physician.
- Monitor patients for medication side effects and adverse reactions.
- Maintain accurate Medication Administration Records (MAR).
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medications.
Admission & Discharge
- Assist in patient admission, orientation, and discharge procedures.
- Verify admission documentation and patient belongings.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and medication compliance.
- Prepare discharge documentation as directed by the medical team.
Psychiatric & De-Addiction Care
- Observe and report changes in patient behavior, mood, and mental status.
- Monitor patients experiencing withdrawal symptoms and psychiatric emergencies.
- Assist in managing aggressive, suicidal, or high-risk patients according to organizational protocols.
- Support therapeutic and rehabilitation activities conducted within the facility.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate nursing records and patient files.
- Prepare incident reports and nursing notes as required.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, MHCA 2017 guidelines, and applicable healthcare regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Infection Control & Safety
- Follow infection control practices and universal precautions.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of patient care areas.
- Participate in emergency preparedness and safety drills.
Coordination & Communication
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors, social workers, and caregivers.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Provide proper handover during shift changes.
- Communicate patient concerns promptly to the medical team.
Qualifications
- ANM / GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid Nursing Council Registration.
- Experience in psychiatric hospitals, rehabilitation centers, de-addiction centers, or healthcare facilities preferred.
- Freshers with strong interest in mental health nursing may also apply.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
