The Factory & Inventory Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all incoming goods and materials received at the factory meet the required quantity and quality standards. The role includes managing inventory accuracy, overseeing factory operations, coordinating with suppliers and production teams, and maintaining efficient stock control systems. The position also supports the overall management of factory activities to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities Goods Receiving & Inspection
- Verify all incoming materials, components, and finished goods against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
- Inspect received goods for quantity, quality, specifications, and any visible damages.
- Report discrepancies, shortages, defects, or non-conforming materials to management and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of all goods received and inspection results.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of receiving reports.
Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy at all times.
- Conduct regular stock counts and periodic inventory audits.
- Maintain inventory records in ERP/software systems and physical registers.
- Track material movement within the factory and ensure proper stock allocation.
- Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged inventory and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure adequate stock levels to support production requirements.equired Skills
