Production Supervisor
Three positions: two at Ghaziabad, one at Delhi
Queens Bay International makes and exports fine paper products for B2B customers abroad. The work is high-volume manual assembly and finishing on a single shift. Our units are in Ghaziabad and Delhi.
Location: Factory, GT Road, Ghaziabad, or Kirti Nagar Industrial Area, Delhi. On the floor, Monday to Saturday.
Salary: ₹25,000 to ₹35,000 gross a month, set by the size of floor you have actually run.
Experience: 6+ years in production management in a manufacturing unit, with at least 2 years personally running a floor of 80 or more workers.
About the role
A hands-on supervisor to run a production floor of 80 to 100 operators on a single shift, doing high-volume manual assembly and finishing of small paper items to export grade. This is an on-the-floor role, not an office role.
What you will do
· Plan daily production against order targets and allocate manpower across lines.
· Set and track output per operator, not just output per shift.
· Hold batch consistency, wastage control and export-grade finishing on your lines. Quality Control inspects and can hold a lot; you are responsible for it not needing to.
· Keep semi-automatic lines running. Coordinate operators and maintenance, reduce downtime.
· Report daily output, wastage, downtime and attendance to management in writing.
· Coordinate with Stores for raw material and with Dispatch for finished goods.
· Train new operators to standard and maintain floor discipline, safety and housekeeping.
Purchasing sits with our Purchase Manager. Stores, stock records and dispatch sit with Stores. Final quality release sits with the Quality Head. This role does not cover any of those.
What we need from you
· You have personally run a floor of 80+ workers, including contract labour.
· You know your current plant's daily output, wastage percentage and manpower numbers from memory. We will ask.
· Manual or semi-automatic work, not only fully automated plant.
· Stable work record: at least one job of 3+ years.
· Fluent Hindi. Ghaziabad, Noida or east NCR for the Ghaziabad seats; west Delhi for the Delhi seat. People travelling across Delhi have not lasted with us.
