Currently operating a network of 21 clinics across rural West Bengal, we proudly serve approximately 70,000 patients every month. As we enter an aggressive scale-up phase, we are expanding our clinic footprint and looking for a driven professional to help secure the financial partnerships necessary to fuel this growth.
Role Overview
The Mid-Level Fund Manager will play a pivotal role in driving RHCF’s resource mobilization efforts. This individual will take ownership of identifying, cultivating, and securing partnerships with CSR divisions, institutional investors, and philanthropic foundations. The primary objective for this role is to develop robust funding pipelines and lead the strategic effort to raise ₹8 to ₹30 Crores to support the establishment of new centers and the sustained operation of our existing rural health network.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Pipeline Development
- Design and implement a comprehensive, data-driven fundraising strategy aligned with the foundation's expansion goals.
- Prospect and build a robust pipeline of potential CSR partners, grant-making organizations, and major individual donors.
- Track industry trends in corporate social responsibility and rural development funding to position RHCF competitively.
Proposal & Pitch Development
- Draft compelling, high-quality grant proposals, applications, and concept notes.
- Develop tailored pitch decks for investors and CSR partners that clearly articulate the operational model, community impact, and financial sustainability of the clinics.
- Collaborate with the operations team to accurately reflect clinic metrics, staff incentive structures, and performance data in all funding requests.
Donor Stewardship & Reporting
- Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with existing and prospective funders.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting on fund utilization, clinic performance, and social return on investment (SROI) to all stakeholders.
- Host donor visits to clinics, demonstrating on-the-ground impact and operational efficiency.
Financial Management & Alignment
- Work closely with the leadership and finance teams to develop accurate program budgets for new centers.
- Monitor grant cycles, track fundraising income, and ensure all funding compliance and reporting acquittals are rigorously met.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 4–7 years of proven experience in fundraising, CSR partnerships, or grant management, preferably within the non-profit, healthcare, or development sector.
- Track Record: Demonstrated success in securing significant grants or CSR funding (experience helping to close multi-crore portfolios is highly preferred).
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate operational data into compelling impact narratives.
- Technical Skills: Strong financial acumen, experience managing grant budgets, and proficiency in creating professional presentations and pitch decks.
