- Identify and evaluate new suppliers.
- Maintain relationships with existing vendors.
- Compare suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery time.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing.
- Understand company material requirements.
- Coordinate with departments like production, warehouse, and finance.
- Plan purchases to avoid stock shortages or overstocking.
- Create and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
- Track PO status and ensure timely delivery.
- Verify order details such as quantity, specifications, and pricing.
- Negotiate best prices and payment terms.
- Monitor market prices to control procurement costs.
- Ensure procurement aligns with company budget.
