Position: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Estimation Engineer (Building Construction, EPC Projects)
AGM – Techno-Commercial & Tendering
1. Estimation & Quantity Take-off (EPC)
- Item Rate Tenders: Prepare accurate Quantity Take-Offs (QTO) from drawings and create detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
- EPC / Turnkey Tenders: Perform conceptual design-based estimation, structural and architectural quantity calculations, and risk-adjusted cost modelling from preliminary drawings or scope matrix.
2. Vendor Management & Procurement Rate Analysis
- Float RFQs (Request for Quotations) to material vendors, manufacturers, and subcontractors for all major construction heads (Concrete, Steel, Masonry, Finishing, Finishing Services, Equipment, etc.).
- Collect, analyse, and normalize vendor rates to build a strong local market rate database.
- Negotiate competitive pricing with suppliers and specialized sub-contractors.
3. Rate Analysis & Costing
- Perform first-principles rate analysis for specialized, non-scheduled, and custom items considering material, labour, machinery, overheads, and profit margins.
- Account for site logistics, indirect costs, statutory taxes, insurance, and escalation factors.
4. Final Quotation & Bid Preparation
- Consolidate direct and indirect costs to calculate the Final Tender / Quote Amount to be submitted to clients.
- Conduct risk assessments and sensitivity analysis for pricing contingencies.
- Prepare comprehensive Cost Comparison Sheets (Comparison Statements) for management review.
Diploma / B.E Civil Engineering
Technical Expertise: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering with deep knowledge of Building Construction methods, CPWD/DSR specifications, and IS Codes.
Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, MS Excel (Advanced).
EPC & BOQ Expertise: Solid understanding of EPC contract structures, structural/architectural drawings, and detailed BOQ estimation.
Negotiation & Vendor Handling: Strong vendor negotiation and market rate analysis skills.
Analytical Skills: High accuracy in numbers with a keen eye for unpriced risks in scope documents.
Pay: Up to ₹1,000,000.00 per year
