Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities – Showroom Operations
- Oversee daily showroom operations and ensure smooth functioning
- Manage counter staff, tailors, warehouse, and support staff
- Ensure proper display, merchandising, cleanliness, and ambience
- Monitor billing, cash closing, and daily sales reports
- Ensure stock accuracy, stock movement, and periodic stock verification
- Control fabric wastage, damage, and pilferage
- Handle customer complaints, returns, and special orders
- Coordinate with tailoring, alterations, and job work units
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve showroom sales targets and improve walk-in conversions
- Promote high-margin and fast-moving products
- Develop institutional, school, B2B, and bulk orders
- Build relationships with architects, schools, builders, and corporates
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and offers
Marketing & Promotion Responsibilities
- Plan and execute showroom promotions, offers, and seasonal sales
- Coordinate local advertising, banners, hoardings, and digital promotions
- Support social media promotions and customer engagement activities
- Organize events, exhibitions, and product launches
- Collect customer feedback and market intelligence
Inventory & Vendor Management
- Plan stock procurement based on demand and season
- Coordinate with suppliers and job workers for timely delivery
- Ensure correct pricing, MRP, and margin control
- Monitor slow-moving, dead stock and clearance plans
Finance & Reporting
- Ensure proper billing, collections, and bank deposits
- Review daily, weekly, and monthly sales & stock reports
- Control operational expenses and improve profitability
- Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements
Team Management & Compliance
- Recruit, train, and motivate showroom staff
- Assign duties and monitor staff performance
- Ensure discipline, punctuality, and grooming standards
- Implement company SOPs, ERP/POS systems, and controls
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of textiles, fabrics, and garment production
- Experience in retail showroom and marketing management
- Leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Basic financial, ERP/POS, and reporting knowledge
Benefits:
- Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000/month (based on experience)
