Embedded Systems & VLSI Trainer
Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Embedded Systems & VLSI Trainer to deliver high-quality technical training to students, graduates, and working professionals. The trainer will be responsible for designing course content, conducting hands-on sessions, mentoring learners, and supporting project development in Embedded Systems, Microcontrollers, FPGA, ASIC Design, and VLSI technologies.
Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & Instruction
- Deliver classroom, online, and laboratory-based training programs in Embedded Systems and VLSI.
- Conduct theoretical and practical sessions on industry-relevant technologies.
- Develop and update training materials, presentations, assignments, and lab exercises.
- Prepare students for industry certifications, interviews, and placement opportunities.
- Assess student performance through tests, quizzes, assignments, and project evaluations.
Embedded Systems Training
- Train students on:
- C Programming and Embedded C
- Data Structures Fundamentals
- Microcontrollers (8051, PIC, AVR, ARM Cortex-M)
- Embedded Linux
- Device Drivers
- RTOS Concepts
- Communication Protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB)
- IoT Fundamentals
- Hardware Interfacing and Debugging
VLSI Training
- Train students on:
- Digital Electronics
- Verilog HDL / SystemVerilog
- VHDL (if required)
- FPGA Design and Implementation
- ASIC Design Flow
- RTL Design
- Functional Verification
- Static Timing Analysis (STA)
- Physical Design Basics
- DFT Concepts
- Semiconductor Fundamentals
Project Mentoring
- Guide students in mini-projects and final-year projects.
- Assist learners in hardware and FPGA board implementation.
- Review project documentation and technical reports.
- Provide troubleshooting support during project development.
Industry & Curriculum Development
- Keep training content aligned with current industry trends.
- Collaborate with academic and technical teams to improve curriculum quality.
- Organize workshops, webinars, hackathons, and technical seminars.
- Support placement activities through mock interviews and resume reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
- Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)
- Electrical Engineering (EEE)
- Electronics & Instrumentation
- VLSI Design
- Embedded Systems
- Computer Engineering or related field
Required SkillsTechnical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Embedded C and C Programming.
- Experience with ARM-based microcontrollers and development boards.
- Knowledge of Embedded Linux and RTOS.
- Proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog.
- Understanding of FPGA and ASIC design flows.
- Familiarity with EDA tools such as:
- Xilinx Vivado
- Intel Quartus
- ModelSim
- Cadence Tools
- Synopsys Tools
- Mentor Graphics Tools
