Hiring: Safety Officer in contracting firm
Industry: PMC / Contracting Firm
Project Type: Residential / Commercial Construction Project
Location: Bandra, Mumbai
Qualification:
- Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) – Mandatory
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in construction safety management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with site safety standards and statutory regulations.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Monitor PPE compliance and safe work practices.
- Issue and monitor Permit to Work (PTW).
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety training programs.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
- Support emergency preparedness, mock drills, and fire safety activities.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- ADIS qualified with strong knowledge of construction safety practices.
- Experience in high-rise residential/commercial construction projects.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
Must be comfortable to work on PMC pay roll.
