JOB DESCRIPTION
The Kitchen Staff is responsible for assisting in food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, ensuring food safety compliance, and supporting daily kitchen operations to deliver high-quality products and customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare food items according to approved recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation of sandwiches, burgers, snacks, desserts, and bakery products.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished products.
- Monitor ingredient levels and inform supervisors of stock shortages.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory procedures.
- Support kitchen operations during peak business hours.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain cost control practices.
- Assist with cleaning schedules and kitchen maintenance activities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1 year of kitchen or food production experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
