We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Travel Consultant with a background in Travel & Tourism. The candidate will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, understanding travel requirements, preparing itineraries and quotations, and converting enquiries into confirmed bookings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle customer enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, email and other communication channels.
- Understand clients’ travel requirements and suggest suitable destinations, packages and travel options.
- Prepare and share customized itineraries and quotations.
- Follow up with leads and convert enquiries into bookings.
- Coordinate with hotels, airlines, DMCs and other travel service providers.
- Handle domestic and international tour packages, hotel bookings, flights and related travel services.
- Maintain regular communication and good relationships with clients.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth.
- Maintain proper records of enquiries, follow-ups and bookings.
Requirements:
- Qualification or background in Travel & Tourism / Hospitality / related field preferred.
- Prior experience as a Travel Consultant, Travel Executive, Tour Executive, Travel Sales Executive or similar role.
- Good knowledge of travel destinations, tour packages and basic travel operations.
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
- Good English communication skills; Malayalam proficiency is an advantage.
- Comfortable with telecalling, lead follow-ups and sales conversion.
- Good convincing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Candidates with relevant Travel & Tourism experience will be given preference.
