About the Company
We are a growing infrastructure and construction company engaged in Road, Bridge, and Civil Construction projects across multiple locations. We are looking for an experienced and reliable Senior Accountant who can efficiently manage accounting operations across project sites while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and financial discipline.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial Management
- Handle day-to-day accounting activities for multiple project sites.
- Record, verify, and maintain all financial transactions accurately.
- Prepare and maintain books of accounts, ledgers, vouchers, and financial records.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of site accounts and company accounts.
- Match accounts and transactions with complete accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
Site Coordination
- Coordinate regularly with site employees regarding accounting matters.
- Follow up with site staff for bills, vouchers, expenses, and supporting documents.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies in coordination with site teams.
- Work closely with the Senior Accountant and management for reporting and compliance requirements.
Vendor & Supplier Management
- Coordinate and deal with suppliers and vendors regarding invoices and payments.
- Verify supplier accounts and reconcile outstanding balances.
- Ensure proper documentation and record maintenance for supplier transactions.
Data Management & Compliance
- Maintain accounting data in a clean, organized, and systematic manner.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information.
- Maintain secrecy of company financial records and sensitive data.
- Support audits and internal financial reviews whenever required.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in Construction, Infrastructure, Road & Bridge Projects.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial record management.
- Experience in handling site accounting and multi-location accounts.
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and documentation skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with site teams and suppliers.
