About the Role
We are looking for a creative and user-focused UI/UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly digital experiences for web and mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to transform ideas into engaging user interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and developers.
- Create wireframes, user flows, journey maps, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Design responsive and visually appealing interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and incorporate feedback into designs.
- Maintain consistency through design systems, style guides, and UI components.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Improve user experience by identifying design problems and proposing effective solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
- Optimize existing designs based on user behavior and business goals.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and user-centered design.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.
- Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
- Understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development concepts is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a creative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in UI/UX design for web or mobile applications.
- A strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX projects and design process.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
