We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal components according to engineering drawings and production requirements. The ideal candidate should have experience in sheet metal fabrication processes, including cutting, bending, punching, drilling, and assembly.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Measure, mark, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand tools and machinery.
- Operate fabrication equipment such as shearing machines, press brakes, punching machines, and power tools.
- Assemble sheet metal parts and components as per specifications.
- Perform drilling, riveting, welding, and fastening operations when required.
- Inspect finished products to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Follow company safety procedures and quality control guidelines.
- Coordinate with supervisors and production teams to meet manufacturing schedules.
Required Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Fabrication, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes and sheet metal machinery.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cable tray, electrical enclosure, ducting, or structural fabrication.
- Basic welding and grinding skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
