The Placement Recruiter is responsible for building strong employer partnerships, identifying suitable job opportunities for students, coordinating campus interviews, and ensuring maximum placement success. The role requires excellent communication, industry networking, and student handling skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Employer & Industry Coordination
- Build and maintain relationships with companies, HR managers, and recruiters.
- Identify new job openings, internships, and on-the-job training opportunities.
- Conduct employer outreach via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and visits.
2. Student Placement Activities
- Guide students through resume preparation, interview skills, and job readiness.
- Match student profiles with suitable job roles.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews, assessments, and placement drives.
3. Placement Operations & Reporting
- Maintain placement data, student records, and employer databases.
- Track placement progress and submit weekly/monthly reports.
- Ensure timely follow-up with employers and candidates.
4. Training Support
- Assist in organizing soft skills training, mock interviews, and career guidance sessions.
- Provide feedback to trainers on industry demands and skill gaps.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
- Good communication skills in English and local language (e.g., Malayalam).
- Strong networking and relationship-building ability.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to interact confidently with students and employers.
- Experience in recruitment, HR, or placement coordination preferred.
