Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Air Export and Air Import shipments from booking to final delivery and billing.
- Handle all operational and documentation activities, including:
- House Air Way Bill (HAWB)
- Master Air Way Bill (MAWB)
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Shipping Bill
- Bill of Entry (BOE)
- Customs and regulatory documentation
- Coordinate with airlines, customers, customs brokers (CHA), transporters, warehouses, and overseas agents to ensure smooth cargo movement.
- Monitor shipment milestones and proactively provide shipment status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Liaise with internal teams for freight costing, billing, job creation, job closure, and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with airline regulations, customs requirements, DGFT guidelines, and company SOPs.
- Resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, and operational issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and prepare operational MIS reports.
- Deliver excellent customer service by ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Air Export & Import Operations within the Freight Forwarding industry.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Air freight operations
- Customs clearance procedures
- Airline booking processes
- Import & Export documentation
- Experience coordinating with customers, overseas agents, airlines, customs brokers, and logistics service providers.
- Good understanding of Incoterms and international shipping procedures.
- Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with Freight ERP systems such as Logisys, CargoWise, or similar logistics software.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- IATA Certification will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹10,840.20 - ₹60,000.00 per month
