Core Responsibilities:
ü Ensure smooth functioning of OT
ü Scrub to assist during Surgeries when required
ü Responsible that required instruments and equipments are available before all surgeries
ü Immediate reporting of abnormalities if any to OT Head or the Surgeon
ü Proper documentation of OT Records
ü Confidentiality of patient records and condition
ü Ensure highest standards of sterility to prevent any incident of Surgical Site Infection
ü Ensure proper Cleaning, washing, drying, packing of instruments is being done as per the policy
ü Maintain inventory records of all instruments and equipment in the OT
ü Ensure proper surface disinfection and fogging as per the policy
ü Record and maintain quality indicators and submit the monthly report to Quality Cell by 5 of every month
ü Maintain duty roster of OT staff
ü Scheduling of surgeries as per the bookings and availability
ü Responsible for inventory of the OT
ü Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of all OT equipment and instruments
ü To follow all precautions for Radiation safety when the c-arm is operational
ü To maintain the radiation safety gears in their best condition.
ü To ensure that all radiation personnel are wearing TLD badges for their personal monitoring
Other responsibilities:
ü Maintain record register and other documents as per the requirements of the hospital
ü To work in a team in the operating room
ü Carries out any other duties delegated by OT Head
ü Good IPR and inter departmental relations
ü Attending meetings and training as and when scheduled
ü Ensure proper dress code and conduct
ü Maintain discipline
ü To be cordial and attentive to all patients & relatives
ü Follow all hospital wide applicable policies
Skills Required: Good communication skills, knowledge of surgeries and their requirements, interpersonal relationship, knowledge of clinical procedures and holistic approach towards patients, should be able to supervise and guide staff.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
