Position Overview
Role Overview:
At Ralph Lauren, as a Manager, Projects, you will play a critical role in delivering and managing enterprise-wide projects and initiatives including all aspects of Global Procurement, Source to Pay, Record to Report, Tax, Treasury and Account Receivable to the Ralph Lauren business community. The role will unlock/ create value via expense reductions, improved efficiency and cost avoidance that will be passed on to the Ralph Lauren business community. Working closely with IT and Business Stakeholders, projects and initiatives will be closely monitored and tracked for effective return on investment.
The position will lead policy governance, operational delivery, risk management, and transformation initiatives, ensure strong controls while enhance the employee experience
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities

Act as liaison with the business user community to identify system and business requirements for implementation to support streamlined, efficient, best-practice solutions.

Act as a subject matter expert for positioning and implementing system automations, bridging business owner requirements and the IT development team.

Identify best-practice approaches for data capture, interfacing, and reporting requirements.

Assist in the analysis, design, redesign, implementation, testing, and documentation of new and enhanced systems and processes.

Develop interim and permanent workaround solutions where required.

Work with global business units to identify process inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and propose improvement solutions.

Leverage data and tools to implement forward-looking solutions and best practices
Stakeholder Management

Partner closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to translate requirements into effective solutions.

Prioritize potential projects in collaboration with stakeholders and support their execution.

Communicate effectively with administrative staff, external organizations, and colleagues at all levels.

Facilitate alignment and resolve differing viewpoints across cross-team and cross-organization efforts

Partner with key stakeholders across:
Finance and Controllership
Procurement (alignment with P-Card strategy)
HR (employee lifecycle processes)
IT (systems and automation initiatives)

Required Qualifications:
Education / Technical
-
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration

Sound working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office (intermediate to advanced).
-
Strong understanding of how data is used within business processes and its impact.
-
Fluency in English; an additional European language (French, German, or Italian) is a plus.

Demonstrates a solid understanding of procurement as well as finance/accounting processes.

Facilitation and conflict resolution skills to manage differing points of view and requirements across teams and functions.

Ability to interact effectively with resources and business stakeholders to facilitate all aspects of an initiative.

Strong communication skills with administrative staff, external organizations, and stakeholders at all levels.

Deep retail and wholesale industry experience, awareness of business strategies and issues, and experience in manufacturing and sourcing are preferred.
