We are looking for a Manufacturing Team Lead to manage daily production activities for medical device and IVD products. The candidate should be hands-on, quality-focused, and able to guide operators and technicians on the shopfloor. This role is responsible for meeting production targets, following SOPs, maintaining DHR, batch records, and ensuring compliance with GMP and ISO 13485 requirements.

Lead and supervise the manufacturing team during daily production activities.

Execute production plans as per approved schedule and ensure timely completion of work.

Manage assembly, testing, labeling, packing, and finished goods handover activities.

Ensure proper line clearance before starting each batch or product changeover.

Follow approved SOPs, work instructions, batch records, and quality procedures.

Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO 13485, and internal quality system requirements.

Perform and verify in-process checks during production

Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming products to the Quality team.

Maintain accurate production records, batch records, checklists, logbooks, and reports.

Ensure material traceability for components, labels, packaging materials, and finished goods.

Coordinate with Stores for timely issue and return of materials.

Ensure correct use of machines, tools, jigs, fixtures, and calibrated instruments.

Report and support closure of equipment, process, and quality issues

Train operators and technicians on SOPs, safety, documentation, and production practices.

Maintain shopfloor discipline, cleanliness, safety, and 5S practices.

Support audits, CAPA, deviation, change control, pilot batches, and process improvement activities when required.

Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Electronics, Mechanical, Production, or related field.

2 to 5 years of experience in medical device, IVD, diagnostics, electronics, or regulated manufacturing.

Prior experience in handling operators or shopfloor teams is preferred.

Knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485, SOPs, DMR, DHR, Batch records, and production documentation.

Experience in assembly, testing, labeling, packing, and in-process inspection.

Good understanding of line clearance, material traceability, and quality checks.

Ability to manage daily production issues and coordinate with QA, QC, Stores, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.

Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and production reporting.

Good communication, team handling, and problem-solving skills.

Daily production target achievement.
