Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Manager – Design with a minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience in Solar PV design engineering, including exposure to Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This is a core technical role focused on detailed engineering, execution-ready drawings, and system design for utility-scale and BESS projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineering & Layouts: Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, plant layouts, earthing layouts, equipment layouts, and construction-ready documents for Solar PV and BESS projects.
- Electrical Design: Develop AC & DC Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), cable sizing, cable scheduling, electrical calculation sheets, and protection schemes.
- Grid & Interconnection: Design LV / HV systems including 11kV / 33kV / 66kV interconnections.
- BESS Integration: Integrate Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with Solar PV plants, handling both system configuration and grid interconnection.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all designs comply with IS, IEC, IEEE standards, as well as project-specific requirements.
- Collaboration: Coordinate closely with internal engineering and site teams to provide technical clarifications.
- Documentation: Maintain proper engineering documentation and drawing control for every assigned project.
RequirementsEducation & Experience
- B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory).
- 4+ years of core experience in Solar PV Design Engineering.
- Hands-on experience working with 11kV / 33kV / 66kV voltage levels.
- Prior experience in BESS design and integration is highly preferred.
Technical Skills & Software Proficiency
- AutoCAD (Advanced layout & drawing preparation)
- PVSyst (Energy generation modeling)
- ETAP (Electrical transient analyzer program)
- Strong foundational understanding of solar plant electrical systems and grid connectivity.
Core Competencies
- High attention to detail with robust engineering fundamentals.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to bridge the gap between design and site execution.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
