we believe that great design starts with great people. We are looking for a hands-on HR who understands the unique pulse of a creative environment. You won’t just be managing files; you’ll be the architect of our firm’s culture, ensuring our team of designers, architects, and technical staff has the support they need to build the extraordinary.
The ideal candidate balances the "human" with the "resource" combining emotional intelligence with a sharp eye for talent and a solid grasp of labor compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Studio Growth
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, specializing in sourcing high-caliber architectural talent (from Interns to Senior Associates).
- Collaborate with Project Leads to understand specific technical skill requirements (Revit, Rhino, BIM, etc.).
- Build a pipeline of candidates through networking, portfolio reviews, and university relations.
2. Culture & Employee Experience
- Design and lead onboarding programs that immerse new hires in the firm’s design philosophy and workflow.
- Organize "Lunch & Learns," studio pin-ups, and team-building events to foster a collaborative culture.
- Act as a trusted advisor and mediator for staff, resolving conflicts with empathy and professional discretion.
3. Performance & Development
- Oversee the annual review process, ensuring feedback is constructive and aligned with career pathing.
- Identify training needs and manage licensure support (NCARB/ARE) and continuing education (AIA) credits for the team.
4. Operations & Compliance
- Administer payroll, benefits, and PTO tracking.
- Ensure all firm policies comply with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Maintain the Employee Handbook, keeping it relevant to a modern, flexible workplace.
What You Bring
- Experience: 2+ years in HR Management, ideally within a creative industry (Architecture, Engineering, or Design).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or Psychology. SHRM or PHR certification is a major plus.
- Industry Savvy: A basic understanding of the architectural project lifecycle and the "crunch" periods associated with deadlines.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills; you should be as comfortable presenting to Principals as you are chatting with a Junior Designer.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency with HRIS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Microsoft Office 365.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
