Job Summary:
The Civil Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing civil construction projects within scope, time, cost, and quality standards. The role involves coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution while complying with safety and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and supervise civil construction projects from inception to completion
- Prepare project schedules, budgets, and work plans
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and engineers
- Monitor site progress, quality of work, and adherence to specifications
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations
- Manage contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Review and approve drawings, BOQs, and material submittals
- Conduct site meetings and prepare progress reports
- Handle billing, measurements, variations, and claims
- Resolve site issues and technical problems promptly
- Ensure timely completion of projects within approved budget
Qualifications & Skills:
- B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in civil construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards
- Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in high-rise buildings, hospitals, or large-scale infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of local authority approvals and tender procedures
