French Language Teacher – Full Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and skilled French Language Teacher to join our institute. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong command over spoken and written French, and the ability to teach students of different proficiency levels using interactive and engaging teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach French language to students from beginner to advanced levels (A1, A2, B1, B2,C1,C2 )
- Conduct engaging classes focusing on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation skills, and cultural awareness.
- Prepare structured lesson plans, classroom materials, and assessments.
- Train students for international French certification exams such as DELF / DALF.
- Evaluate student performance and provide regular feedback and guidance.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive and motivating learning environment.
- Conduct speaking practice, role plays, and real-life conversation activities.
- Support institute activities including demo sessions, student counseling, and academic planning.
Experience Required:
· Minimum 1–3 years of experience teaching French.
· Experience teaching CEFR levels (A1–B2) preferred.
· Prior experience in language institutes, schools, colleges, or online platforms is an advantage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, Linguistics, or a related field (preferred).
- DELF/DALF certification or equivalent international proficiency certification preferred.
- Teaching certifications such as B.Ed., TESOL, or equivalent are an added advantage.
Required Skills:
- Excellent command of French grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle offline and/or online classes confidently.
- Student-focused, organized, and result-oriented teaching approach.
