About the role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ICU Technician to support our Intensive Care Unit team. The ideal candidate will assist nurses and physicians in delivering high-quality critical care to patients, operate and maintain life-support equipment, and ensure the ICU functions smoothly and safely at all times.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and operate ICU equipment including ventilators, infusion pumps, cardiac monitors, and pulse oximeters
- Assist nurses and physicians with patient care procedures in the ICU
- Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot life-support and monitoring devices
- Perform routine checks on all ICU equipment and report malfunctions promptly
- Assist in intubation, suctioning, and other bedside procedures as directed
- Monitor patient vitals and alert nursing staff of any abnormal readings
- Maintain cleanliness and sterility of ICU equipment and patient areas
- Document equipment usage, maintenance logs, and patient data accurately
- Respond quickly and calmly during medical emergencies and code situations
- Coordinate with biomedical engineering team for equipment servicing
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
