Job Title: Production Manager – Wiring / Cable Harness (Internal & External)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead the Wiring and Cable Harness division, managing both internal panel wiring and external harness assemblies. The role involves ensuring high-quality output, adherence to industry standards (including railway requirements), and efficient production planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee internal panel wiring and external cable harness assembly operations
- Plan and execute production schedules to meet project timelines and dispatch commitments
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards, drawings, and customer specifications
- Manage cutting, crimping, routing, ferruling, and termination processes
- Ensure proper wire identification, labeling, and documentation
- Monitor productivity, line efficiency, and takt time
- Coordinate with design, PPC, quality, and stores teams for smooth operations
- Maintain BOM accuracy and material availability for uninterrupted production
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and testing procedures (continuity, insulation, etc.)
- Reduce rework, rejection, and wiring errors through process improvements
- Implement Lean manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives
- Train and supervise technicians, operators, and supervisors
- Maintain strict safety and compliance standards
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of wiring and cable harness manufacturing processes
- Expertise in crimping standards, cable routing, and electrical schematics
- Familiarity with tools and machines (wire cutting, stripping, crimping machines)
- Understanding of quality standards and testing methods
- Experience in production planning and team management
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering
- 8–10 years of experience in wiring/cable harness production in manufacturing industry
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in railway, automotive, or heavy electrical manufacturing.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
