About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our hospitality team in Dehradun. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of Human Resources, including recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, training, compliance, and HR operations. Candidates with prior experience in the hospitality industry will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for hotel and hospitality staff.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee welfare initiatives.
- Manage employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes.
- Oversee performance management, appraisals, and employee development programs.
- Coordinate staff training and ensure high service standards through continuous learning.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Manage attendance, leave records, payroll coordination, and employee documentation.
- Support employee engagement activities to build a positive workplace culture.
- Work closely with department heads to meet staffing requirements and workforce planning.
- Maintain HR reports, records, and MIS.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of HR experience, preferably in the hospitality, hotel, or resort industry.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HRMS/HRIS and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in hotels, resorts, restaurants, or hospitality groups.
- Candidates currently based in Dehradun or willing to relocate will be preferred.
- MBA/PGDM in HR or relevant HR certification is an added advantage.
