Qualifications:

- Certification in abrasive blasting or coating inspection (NACE / SSPC is a plus)

Job description:
We are looking for a skilled Industrial Grit Blaster with 2–5 years of experience in abrasive blasting, specializing in achieving SA 3 Standard (White Metal Blast Cleaning). The candidate must be capable of delivering the highest level of surface cleanliness required for critical coating applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform abrasive/grit blasting to achieve SA 3 (White Metal) finish.
- Remove all visible oil, grease, rust, mill scale, coatings, and contaminants from surfaces
- Set up and operate blasting equipment including blast pots, compressors, hoses, and nozzles
- Ensure uniform surface profile and anchor pattern suitable for high-performance coatings
- Conduct visual inspection to confirm SA 3 cleanliness level before painting
- Work closely with QC inspectors to meet standards
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper housekeeping of blasting area
- Follow strict safety procedures including PPE usage and confined space protocols
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to consistently achieve white metal finish for critical applications
- Familiarity with surface profile measurement and inspection requirements
- Knowledge of different blasting media and their impact on surface finish
- Physically fit and able to work in demanding industrial environments
Working Conditions:
- High exposure to dust, abrasive particles, and noise
- Strict adherence to PPE and safety regulations is mandatory
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
