Job Description
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling, timing, and visual aesthetics, and be able to edit engaging videos for digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into high-quality videos
- Create short-form and long-form videos for social media, ads, websites, and promotions
- Add music, sound effects, graphics, text, and transitions
- Color correction and basic color grading
- Ensure videos match brand tone, style, and guidelines
- Collaborate with the marketing and content team to understand project requirements
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Optimize videos for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Reels
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animations (preferred)
- Understanding of aspect ratios, codecs, and video formats
- Strong creative and storytelling skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in social media video editing
- Knowledge of trends, reels, and short-form content
- Basic knowledge of sound design
- Portfolio or showreel is mandatory
