Job Summary:
The Jr Architect at MERGEBUILT is responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and executing innovative design solutions tailored to client requirements. The team ensures creative excellence, functional design, and alignment with project goals while maintaining adherence to budget and timelines. They collaborate closely with the project management and construction teams to deliver exceptional interior spaces.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
· 3-5 years of experience in interior design (preferably in residential and commercial projects).
· Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or Revit.
· Strong portfolio showcasing design expertise and creativity.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.

Roles & Responsibilities
· Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and preferences.
· Develop creative and functional design concepts that align with the project scope and goals.
· Present mood boards, sketches, and 3D renderings to communicate design ideas effectively.
· Analyze spatial requirements and develop efficient layouts.
· Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and furniture layouts using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
· Ensure designs comply with safety and building regulations.
· Select materials, colours, textures, and finishes that complement the design vision.
· Source and evaluate samples from vendors and suppliers.
· Ensure materials align with project budgets and quality standards.
· Work closely with project managers to align design milestones with construction timelines.
· Coordinate with procurement teams for sourcing furniture, fixtures, and materials.
· Collaborate with contractors and craftsmen to ensure design intent is executed accurately.
· Prepare and present design proposals, including 3D visualizations, mood boards, and sample boards.
· Communicate effectively with clients to address feedback and refine designs.
· Create detailed working drawings and specifications for construction teams.
· Conduct site visits to oversee design implementation and resolve any discrepancies.
· Provide guidance during installation and staging phases to ensure quality and accuracy.
· Stay updated on the latest interior design trends, technologies, and materials.
· Incorporate innovative design solutions to enhance functionality and aesthetics.
· Experiment with sustainable and eco-friendly design practices.
· Maintain detailed records of design iterations, client feedback, and project milestones.
· Prepare design documentation for permits, approvals, and handover to clients.
· Provide regular updates to leadership on design progress and challenges.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
