1. Vendor Governance & Performance Management · Establish and maintain vendor governance frameworks and operating models. · Conduct regular vendor performance reviews, including QBRs / MBRs. · Track SLAs, KPIs, and service quality metrics, ensuring compliance and performance. · Lead issue escalation, service improvement plans, and corrective actions.
2. Contract & Commercial Management · Support contract creation, negotiation, renewals, and amendments. · Monitor contract compliance and ensure vendors adhere to agreed terms. · Work with Procurement and Legal on commercial discussions and risk mitigation. · Identify cost-optimisation opportunities and manage spend transparency.
3. Relationship Management · Act as the primary operational contact for vendor interactions. · Build strategic relationships with key suppliers to improve collaboration. · Facilitate communication between internal teams and vendors.
4. Risk, Compliance & Audit · Ensure vendors meet internal governance, audit, regulatory, and security requirements. · Monitor vendor risks (financial, operational, cyber, regulatory). · Maintain vendor risk assessments and due-diligence documentation. · Support internal and external audits with vendor-related evidence and reports.
5. Service Transition & Onboarding · Support vendor onboarding, including compliance checks, contract setup, and performance frameworks. · Collaborate with IT and operations teams on service transition from project to BAU. · Ensure vendors are fully integrated into organisational processes.
