Job description:
We are looking for a skilled LiDAR Analyst to handle the complete LiDAR workflow—from mission planning and data acquisition (piloting support) to processing, analysis, and final deliverables. The candidate should have strong technical expertise in LiDAR data handling, classification, and mapping. Key Responsibilities
1. Mission Planning & Piloting Support
- Assist in flight planning for LiDAR surveys (UAV/Drone-based or airborne)
- Ensure proper sensor calibration and setup
- Coordinate with drone pilots for data acquisition
- Monitor GNSS/IMU data quality during missions
- Ensure compliance with DGCA drone regulations (India)
2. Data Acquisition & Pre-Processing
- Handle raw LiDAR data (LAS/LAZ files)
- Perform trajectory processing (PPK/RTK)
- Conduct point cloud georeferencing
- Perform initial data quality checks (QC)
3. Point Cloud Processing
- DTM (Digital Terrain Model)
- DSM (Digital Surface Model)
- Contour maps
- Remove noise and improve data accuracy
4. Feature Extraction & Analysis
Extract features like:
- Buildings
- Powerlines
- Roads
- Vegetation
- Perform 3D modeling and analysis
- Support mapping and GIS integration
5. Quality Control & Validation
- Perform accuracy checks using GCPs
- Ensure data meets project specifications
- Maintain documentation and reports
6. Final Deliverables
- Prepare client-ready outputs:
- Classified point clouds
- Orthophotos (if applicable)
- CAD/GIS files
- Deliver data in required formats (LAS, SHP, DXF, GeoTIFF)
- Coordinate with clients for revisions
Required Skills Experience with tools like:
- LAStools
- TerraScan / TerraSolid
- Global Mapper
- ArcGIS / QGIS
- Microstation
Understanding of:
- LiDAR principles
- Coordinate systems & projections
- Drone/UAV operations

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
