Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager with 8–10 years of experience, preferably in the plantation industry, to oversee the company's financial operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in plantation accounting, statutory compliance, budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting. The role requires close coordination with plantation operations, factory management, procurement, and corporate finance to ensure accurate financial management and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations for plantation and factory activities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization across plantation operations.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Ensure accurate accounting of plantation expenses, production costs, inventory, and fixed assets.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, government authorities, and financial institutions.
- Monitor inventory valuation of tea leaves, finished goods, fertilizers, chemicals, and other plantation inputs.
- Implement effective internal controls and strengthen financial processes.
- Support management with financial analysis, MIS reports, and strategic decision-making.
- Supervise and mentor the accounts team to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com).
- MBA (Finance), M.Com, CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
- 8–10 years of relevant accounting experience, with preference given to candidates from the Tea Plantation, Agriculture, Manufacturing, or Plantation Industry.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in budgeting, cost accounting, financial planning, and MIS reporting.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
