- Prepare and marinate meats, seafood, paneer, and vegetables for tandoor cooking.
- Assist in making tandoori items such as naan, roti, kulcha, kebabs, tikka, and grilled dishes.
- Operate and maintain the tandoor oven safely.
- Ensure ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Prepare mise en place (pre-preparation of ingredients) before service.
- Keep the tandoor section clean, organized, and hygienic.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist senior chefs (Demi Chef de Partie, Chef de Partie, Sous Chef) during busy service periods.
- Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors when ingredients need replenishment.
- Help reduce food waste and maintain cost control.
