Position Overview
We are seeking an adaptable and customer-centric Customer Service Supervisor to manage cross-functional road freight operations across Import, Export, Transit, and Customs sub-departments. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will oversee end-to-end client communications, hands-on customs documentation, and road freight shipment coordination.
This role combines direct customer support with internal operational coordination. Whether you have foundational logistics experience or are a sharp candidate ready to master the job quickly, we are looking for a dedicated supervisor to drive exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
* Cross-Functional Operations: Oversee end-to-end customer service for Road Freight operations, covering Import, Export, Transit, and Customs clearance pathways.
* Direct Client & Internal Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact for clients and internal operational teams to provide real-time shipment updates, resolve queries, and handle escalations.
* Customs & Documentation: Manage hands-on customs clearance processes and handle all required transport documentation (including CMR, transit permits, customs declarations, and Incoterms 2020 compliance).
* Leadership & Escalations: Report directly to the Managing Director, ensuring high service levels, managing client expectations, and driving day-to-day operational satisfaction.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Industry Focus: Experience or foundational knowledge in Road Freight logistics, shipping, or customs transport.
* Customs Knowledge: Hands-on experience with customs clearance procedures and international road transport documentation.
* Experience & Learning Mindset: Minimum 1 year of relevant customer service/logistics experience (or strong aptitude with a fast ability to learn on the job).
* Education: College-level degree/diploma preferred.
* Language: Fluent command of business English (written and spoken).
* Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and excellent client management skills.
Working Hours & Schedule
* Schedule: Standard weekday schedule with half-day working weekends.
* Note: Because logistics is a 24/7 service industry, flexibility to address urgent customer queries when required is expected.
