Primary Role
A Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing online marketing strategies to promote an organization’s brand, products, or services, increase online presence, and generate leads or sales.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy Development
- Plan and execute comprehensive digital marketing campaigns
- Develop online brand positioning and promotional strategies
- Set marketing goals aligned with business objectives
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities
2. SEO & SEM Management
- Optimize website content for search engines (SEO)
- Manage paid advertising campaigns such as Google Ads (SEM)
- Improve website traffic and search rankings
- Monitor keyword performance and campaign ROI
3. Social Media Management
- Oversee social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Create and manage social media campaigns
- Increase audience engagement and followers
- Monitor social media analytics
4. Content Marketing
- Plan blogs, articles, email campaigns, and website content
- Coordinate with designers, writers, and video creators
- Ensure content aligns with branding guidelines
- Manage content calendars
5. Performance Marketing
- Run paid campaigns across Google, Meta, YouTube, and other platforms
- Track conversions, leads, and customer acquisition cost
- Optimize campaigns for maximum effectiveness
6. Analytics & Reporting
- Use tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and CRM systems
- Measure campaign effectiveness
- Prepare monthly performance reports
- Make data-driven improvements
7. Team Leadership
- Manage digital marketing executives, SEO specialists, and designers
- Coordinate with sales and management teams
- Assign tasks and monitor productivity
8. Budget Management
- Allocate and monitor digital marketing budgets
- Ensure cost-effective campaign spending
- Maximize return on investment
