Key ResponsibilitiesReception Duties
- Welcome and assist patients, attendants, and visitors in a professional manner.
- Handle patient registration and maintain accurate patient records.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments for OPD and consultants.
- Guide patients regarding hospital services, departments, and procedures.
- Answer telephone calls, emails, and patient inquiries promptly.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and other departments for smooth patient flow.
- Maintain the reception area and ensure proper visitor management.
- Handle patient complaints and escalate issues to the concerned authority when required.
Billing Duties
- Generate OPD, IPD, Emergency, Pharmacy, and Diagnostic bills accurately.
- Collect payments through cash, card, UPI, cheque, and other approved payment methods.
- Issue receipts and maintain proper billing records.
- Verify patient details, service charges, packages, and insurance information before billing.
- Process insurance, TPA, corporate, and cashless billing documentation as required.
- Ensure timely submission of billing reports and daily cash collections.
- Reconcile daily cash, card, and digital payment transactions.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information.
- Assist in preparing daily revenue and collection reports.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Department regarding billing and payment-related matters.
General Responsibilities
- Follow hospital policies, customer service standards, and ethical practices.
- Maintain professionalism, courtesy, and a patient-friendly approach at all times.
- Ensure accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Reporting Manager or Hospital Administration
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
