About the Role
Devent Technology is looking for an experienced and result-driven Business Development Manager to expand our US Staffing and IT Recruitment operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong network in the US staffing industry, experience onboarding direct clients or Tier-1 vendors, and the ability to independently drive business growth.
This role is focused on building long-term client relationships, generating new business opportunities, and collaborating closely with the recruitment team to ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies for US Staffing and IT Recruitment services.
- Generate new business opportunities through direct clients, MSPs, and Tier-1 vendors.
- Bring 3–4 active clients/vendors within the initial phase of engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Coordinate with recruiters and account managers to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and service agreements with clients.
- Identify market trends, hiring demands, and competitor activities to support business growth.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to closure.
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, and client documentation.
- Maintain regular reporting and communication with leadership.
- Represent Devent Technology professionally in meetings, calls, and networking activities.
Required Qualifications
- 4-5+ years of experience in US Staffing Business Development.
- Proven track record of acquiring new clients and generating consistent revenue.
- Strong existing network of direct clients, MSPs, or Tier-1 vendors.
- Deep understanding of the US staffing process, recruitment lifecycle, rate negotiations, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a target-driven environment.
- Strong business acumen and growth-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in scaling a staffing division or business unit.
- Prior collaboration with US-based clients and leadership teams.
- Ability to mentor junior recruiters or business development executives.
- Experience in IT staffing, contract staffing, and full-time hiring.
