Job Description
We are hiring a Cashew Kernel Grader for our cashew processing unit in Kesinga. The selected candidate will be responsible for grading, sorting, and classifying cashew kernels according to company and export quality standards, ensuring only high-quality kernels are processed and packed.
Key Responsibilities
- Grade and sort cashew kernels based on size, color, shape, and quality standards.
- Identify and separate whole, split, broken, scorched, discolored, and defective kernels.
- Ensure accurate grading as per customer and export specifications.
- Maintain consistency in grading to meet quality requirements.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and company quality guidelines during grading operations.
- Report quality issues or abnormalities to the supervisor.
- Minimize wastage by ensuring proper segregation and handling of kernels.
- Coordinate with the production and packing teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cashew Kernel Grader or in cashew processing.
- Good knowledge of cashew kernel grades, sizes, and quality standards.
- Ability to identify defects and classify kernels accurately.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a production environment.
