Position Overview
We are seeking Embedded Systems Engineers who are passionate about electronics, hardware integration, robotics, and intelligent systems.
You will be responsible for developing and integrating the electronic systems that power Poppy The EdBot.
This role provides hands-on experience working with real robotics hardware and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesHardware Integration
Integrate and configure:
- Raspberry Pi 5
- Camera systems
- LiDAR systems
- IMU sensors
- Ultrasonic sensors
- Microphone arrays
- Speaker systems
Power System Development
Develop:
- Battery management systems
- Charging systems
- Power distribution architecture
- Voltage regulation systems
Ensure safe and reliable operation.
Sensor Integration
Work with:
- LiDAR
- Cameras
- IMUs
- Ultrasonic sensors
- Docking sensors
Create reliable sensor interfaces.
Motor Control Systems
Configure:
- Motor drivers
- Encoders
- Speed control systems
- Motion control interfaces
Support autonomous navigation.
Hardware Testing
Conduct:
- Functional testing
- Reliability testing
- Power consumption testing
- Thermal testing
- Battery performance testing
Documentation
Create:
