About the Role
We're hiring an engineer who can build scalable backend services, own automated test coverage end-to-end, and use AI-assisted development tools to move faster without cutting corners. This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable owning both the "build it" and "prove it works" sides of the pipeline.
What You'll Do

Design, build, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express

Write and maintain robust automated test suites across API, UI, and integration layers

Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to support application needs

Use Git for version control and JIRA for issue tracking as part of daily workflow

Leverage AI-assisted development tools, specifically Claude Code, to accelerate delivery and improve code quality
What You'll Need

Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript

Solid, hands-on experience with Node.js and Express

Practical experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Rest-Assured

Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases

Proficiency with Git and JIRA

Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code preferred)
