Key Responsibilities Pharmacy Operations
- Dispense prescribed medicines accurately and efficiently
- Verify prescriptions and dosage instructions
- Counsel patients regarding medication usage, dosage, precautions, and side effects
- Ensure proper labeling and packaging of medicines
Inventory Management
- Maintain pharmacy stock and inventory records
- Monitor expiry dates and remove expired medicines
- Coordinate medicine procurement and vendor communication
- Ensure availability of essential drugs and consumables
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain all pharmacy registers and documentation
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and clinic policies
- Follow proper storage standards for medicines and temperature-sensitive products
- Assist during audits and inspections
Patient Support
- Provide professional and friendly patient interaction
- Guide patients regarding skincare medications and post-procedure prescriptions
- Support doctors and nursing staff with medication-related information
Safety & Hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy
- Ensure safe handling of medications and medical supplies
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
Qualification Requirements
- D.Pharm / B.Pharm / M.Pharm
- Valid Pharmacy Council Registration
- Basic computer knowledge and billing software experience preferred
Experience
- 1–3 years experience preferred
- Experience in clinic, hospital, or aesthetic/dermatology pharmacy is an added advantage
