The Role:
As a Behaviour Technician / Therapist, you are on the front lines of making real life changes. Working under the direct, close supervision of a Qualified Behaviour Analyst (QBA) , you will turn treatment plans into real-world progress.
Your Day-to-Day Includes:
- One-on-One Therapy: Deliver direct, high-energy, play-based ABA therapy to clients in their [homes / schools / our clinic] to build communication, social, and daily living skills.
- Run Intervention Plans: Implement specific, individualized behavioral strategies (like Discrete Trial Teaching and Naturalistic Teaching Methods) to decrease challenging or maladaptive behaviors.
- Track Progress: Collect accurate, real-time data using our [digital data system / iPad tracking tools] during every session to help monitor how a client is progressing.
- Collaborate: Meet regularly with your supervising QBA to review data, adjust tactics, and ensure the client is receiving top-tier support.
- Empower Families: Model strategies and communicate progress cleanly and professionally with parents and caregivers.
Qualifications:
You don’t need a decade of clinical experience to excel here, but you do need patience, high empathy, and a strong work ethic.
Required:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is a huge plus).
- Certification: Active ABAT (Applied Behavior Analysis Technician) credential, OR a strong willingness to complete our paid training program to earn your credential within your first [30/60] days
