Executive – Sales & Marketing
Summary
The Executive Officer – Sales & Marketing (Offline) is responsible for driving offline sales and marketing initiatives, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and representing the organization at convention and event centres by walking customers, engaging prospects, and converting onsite leads into business. This role works closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure execution of strategies that boost revenue, enhance brand presence, and deliver excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Customer Engagement
· Actively pursue offline sales opportunities to meet or exceed targets through direct interactions with customers.
· Walk convention centres, exhibitions, trade shows, and events to engage prospects, explain offerings, and convert interest into sales or qualified leads.
· Build strong face-to-face relationships with customers; understand their requirements and provide customised solutions.
· Conduct on-site product/service presentations and demonstrations.
· Follow up with customers after initial contact to nurture leads and close deals.
· Negotiate sales terms and close agreements while ensuring customer satisfaction.
2. Offline Marketing Activities
- Assist in planning and executing offline marketing campaigns tailored to targeted markets and audiences.
- Distribute promotional materials, brochures, and collaterals at events and customer touchpoints.
- Support the development of traditional marketing efforts, including local print advertising, banners, flyers, and event promotions.
- Track and report customer response to offline marketing initiatives to guide improvements.
· The candidate must maintain ongoing involvement in preparing fresh slides and social media updates.
3. Event & Convention Centre Responsibilities
- Represent the company professionally at all times during events, conventions, and exhibitions.
- Engage attendees, answer queries, capture lead information, and coordinate follow-ups.
- Work closely with event organizers, partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and effective representation.
- Provide feedback on competitor presence, trends, and customer insights observed on the field.
· Prepare and submit a detailed outlined flow for every event to higher management prior to execution, along with the Checklist for all the licenses and compliance at our end for process acknowledgment and management updates
4. Procurement and Inventory control – SSCC
· Procure materials, supplies, and services required for convention centre operations and events
· Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in accordance with approved procedures
· Coordinate with internal departments to forecast requirements and ensure timely availability
· Source, evaluate, and liaise with suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery
· Maintain accurate purchasing documentation and supplier records
· Receive, inspect, store, and issue inventory items in compliance with established procedures
· Conduct regular stock checks and ensure accurate inventory records, Prevent shortages, losses, and wastage of inventory
5. Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, onsite visits, and prospects.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, competitor activity, and opportunities for growth.
- Coordinate with internal sales and marketing teams to integrate offline insights into broader strategies.
· Communicate learnings from field engagements with cross-functional teams to improve services.
· Prepare inventory and procurement reports (SSCC) for management review
