We're looking for a motivated QA & Automation Engineer to join our quality assurance team. This role is perfect for recent graduates (2022 or later) with a minimum 1-2 years of hands-on testing experience who are passionate about ensuring software quality and delivering exceptional user experiences.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and execute automated test cases for web applications
- Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution using bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across different environments
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and testing frameworks
- Create and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or similar platforms
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (graduated 2022 or later)
- Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in software testing or QA
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
- Experience with test case design and execution
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar)
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript)
- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman or REST Assured
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification or similar
