Position: Maintenance Technician
Department: Maintenance of Machinery
Location: Sawarsai, Pen, Dist. – Raigad
Qualification: ITI – Mechanical
Experience: 2–3 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and perform timely repairs to minimize machine downtime.
- Inspect machines regularly to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- Replace defective mechanical components such as bearings, belts, seals, couplings, and other spare parts.
- Assist in machine installation, commissioning, and relocation activities.
- Maintain daily maintenance logs, service records, and machine history.
- Coordinate with the production team to address machine-related issues promptly.
- Ensure proper lubrication and routine servicing of all machinery as per maintenance schedules.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, GMP requirements, and company policies during maintenance activities.
- Maintain housekeeping in the maintenance workshop and machine areas.
- Support utility maintenance activities whenever required.
- Ensure proper usage and upkeep of maintenance tools and equipment.
- Report recurring machine failures and suggest corrective and preventive actions.
Skills Required
- Good knowledge of mechanical maintenance of industrial machinery.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance practices.
- Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Candidate Profile
- Qualification: ITI – Mechanical
- Experience: 2–3 years in machine maintenance within a manufacturing environment (preferably pharmaceutical, medical device, or engineering industries).
- Location: Sawarsai, Pen, Dist. – Raigad
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
