ü As a Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in the successful delivery of services to clients, while gaining experience in a great variety of work under the coaching of your leaders. Key Responsibilities
- Applying a thorough understanding of Credit and Market Risk to deliver high-quality advisory and analytical solutions
- Leveraging expertise in Quantitative Analytics and Market Risk Models (including VaR, ES, IRB, IFRS 9, FRTB, IRRBB, CVA) to support model development, validation, and implementation
- Managing risk across Spot and Derivative markets for equities, interest rate, credit, commodities, and foreign exchange products, including hedging strategies and financial instrument valuations
- Developing and validating financial and risk models to meet client and regulatory requirements
- Ensuring compliance with local and international regulatory frameworks such as Basel, EBA, and CBUAE guidelines
- Utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex risk management challenges and deliver actionable insights
- Preparing presentations, participate in client meetings, and contribute to proposals and business development initiatives
- Mentoring junior consultants, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring quality standards are met
ü 3+ years of strong financial risk management and/or quantitative analysis experience within a financial institution or Consultancy/big 4 firms
ü Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field including Finance, Financial Engineering, Financial Mathematics, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or similar
ü Professional certification in FRM, PRM, and CFA is recommended but not mandatory
ü Aptitude for quantitative analysis and strong numerical skills with evidence of advanced financial modelling skills
ü Experience in analytical and risk management tools/systems (e.g. Python, Bloomberg, R, SAS, MATLAB, etc.)
ü Excellent communication, with client facing experience and presentation abilities
ü Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment is required
ü Excellent verbal written, and presentation skills in English are required, Arabic is advantageous
ü Demonstrate integrity, values, principles, and work ethic and lead by example
ü Travelling on a regular basis to clients is expected
ü Confident individual with an independent and structured way of working
