Job Overview
We are looking for a highly driven and analytical Marketplace Manager to lead the growth and performance of our marketplace channels. This role will be responsible for driving sales, optimizing listings and campaigns, managing inventory coordination, and ensuring overall account health across platforms.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of marketplace dynamics, be data-driven in decision-making, and take complete ownership of business outcomes, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketplace Growth:
- Analyze, report, and communicate core KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis, including sales growth, profit, ROI of AMS, share of voice, buy box win %, conversion rates, traffic, organic ranking, and inventory health.
2. Listing Optimization & Conversion:
- Optimize product listings (titles, keywords, A+ content, images, SEO).
- Improve conversion rates through data-driven experiments.
- Ensure all listings are aligned with platform best practices.
3. Advertising & Performance Marketing:
- Track performance on a daily basis and set KPIs for ACOS and ROI.
- Work with agencies and internal teams to develop, optimize, and manage paid campaigns (AMS, PLA, etc.).
4. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:
- Forecast demand and ensure stock availability.
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams.
- Avoid stockouts and overstock situations.
5. Pricing & Competitive Analysis:
- Monitor competitor pricing and positioning.
- Implement dynamic pricing strategies.
- Identify gaps and opportunities within the category.
6. Data & Analytics:
- Track key metrics such as sales, conversion rate, CTR, ACOS/ROAS, buy box %, and ranking.
- Generate daily and weekly MIS reports.
- Drive decision-making based on data rather than assumptions.
7. Platform Compliance & Account Health:
- Maintain account health metrics.
- Handle escalations, claims, and suppression issues.
Key Requirements:
- 2+ years experience managing marketplaces
- Strong understanding of marketplace algorithms and ranking factors
- Hands-on experience with Ads and performance optimization
- Ability to manage large SKU catalogs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High ownership mindset
