Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and care for children in a safe and loving environment.
- Plan and implement engaging daily activities, including play, storytelling, art, music, and outdoor play.
- Support children’s developmental milestones through structured and free play activities.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards within the daycare.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Observe, document, and report on children’s progress and behavior.
- Manage mealtimes, nap times, and toileting with patience and care.
- Encourage good manners, sharing, and cooperation among children.
- Follow daycare policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child’s day, progress, and needs.
The Daycare Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. They will plan and implement age-appropriate activities, promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, and ensure the well-being of each child in their care.
