Key ResponsibilitiesClinical & Diagnostic Responsibilities
- Examine and interpret laboratory specimens including blood, urine, tissue biopsies, cytology, and body fluids.
- Review and authorize pathology reports with accuracy and within the defined turnaround time (TAT).
- Diagnose diseases through histopathology, hematology, microbiology, clinical pathology, and cytopathology (as applicable).
- Correlate laboratory findings with clinical history to provide accurate diagnoses.
- Consult with treating physicians regarding test interpretations and diagnostic findings.
- Participate in multidisciplinary clinical discussions whenever required.
Laboratory Management
- Supervise the day-to-day functioning of the pathology laboratory.
- Ensure proper implementation of laboratory SOPs and quality control procedures.
- Monitor internal and external quality assurance programs.
- Maintain calibration and validation records of laboratory equipment.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of laboratory samples.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with NABH, NABL, Biomedical Waste Management Rules, and other applicable statutory guidelines.
- Maintain laboratory documentation and audit readiness.
- Monitor infection control practices within the laboratory.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of patient records.
Team Management
- Supervise laboratory technicians, phlebotomists, and support staff.
- Train laboratory personnel on SOPs, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Conduct periodic performance evaluations and competency assessments.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain daily laboratory reports and documentation.
- Ensure timely reporting of critical values to the concerned clinicians.
- Participate in hospital quality meetings and accreditation activities.
- Assist management in procurement planning for laboratory reagents and consumables.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Raya, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Uttar pradesh medical council certificate (Preferred)
