GenAccs is helping build a small, dedicated offshore team in India for a U.S.-based apparel manufacturer that specializes in custom-fitted denim products. Each garment is individually patterned for customers, and the design team uses CAD-based pattern software to create and adjust garment patterns.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Remote Pattern Maker who can create highly accurate digital patterns from client measurements and deliver under tight deadlines. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, self-driven, and experienced in production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Create accurate digital patterns based on client measurements
- Follow internal fit standards and pattern guidelines
- Convert patterns across multiple fabric types (denim, chino, traveler, etc.)
- Generate and upload pattern files and DXF cut files
- Review patterns for accuracy before submission
- Maintain consistent file naming and organization
- Communicate effectively with the production team
- Meet strict daily production deadlines
Tools & Systems
- Optitex (PDS & Marker Making) or similar CAD software
- Asana / task management tools
- Shopify / Google Sheets
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in pattern making (digital preferred)
- Experience with CAD software (Optitex preferred)
- Strong understanding of garment construction and fit
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
- High attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with denim or structured garments
- Experience in made-to-measure or custom clothing
- Familiarity with DXF file generation
